Last week I wrote about how excited I was about a day full of yoga that I was really looking forward to. Sadly, though, I missed the Flow in the City event due to the erratic weather and traffic and well, lots of other things that came up. I guess it just wasn’t meant to be :( Anyway, I heard it was a fun evening filled with yoga, samba, good food and more.

Maybe soon I can finally attend one of the Flow Surf Yoga Samba retreats, be it in the city, or in La Union where it often is held. The next one is slated for August 27-29 at the San Juan Surf Resort, La Union, but because it’s term end in DLSU, I doubt I can take the weekend off.

However, it looks like it’s gonna be a great fun weekend as this time, Flow goes raw with a surf, yoga, samba and raw food weekend retreat. I have yet to get into the raw food revolution (I honestly haven’t tried it, but a good friend of mine swears by it!), and this retreat would have been a good time to explore it as the Flow team will be joined by Bali-certified raw food chef, Asha Peri of Dahon Kusina. Participants of the retreat can also expect the following:

  • 1 Vinyasa and 1 Yin Yoga session
  • 2 Surf lessons
  •  2 Samba lessons
  •  Roundtrip transfers
  •  3D/2N aircon accommodation
  • Raw Food meals and snacks
  • Tote bag with freebies
  • Introduction to ACRO YOGA

Check out the poster below or the Flow Surf Yoga Samba page on Facebook for more details about the retreat.
