When I first started this blog, I wrote about the wheatgrass drink that I had tried.  I must admit I wasn’t super sold on the flavor of it, but the health benefits are supposedly very good so I have recently been trying to introduce it back to my diet. Ideally it would be nice to drink it on a daily basis, but, well, I will just go as far as I can haha.

Recently, however, I was invited to the launch of a ready-to-drink version of the wheatgrass juice I had tried but due to some unforeseen circumstances, I missed it :(

The Good Drink, as it is called, was launched by Easy Pha-max Philippines Inc., is the company’s attempt to make wheatgrass more accessible and convenient to the Filipino consumer. The event was graced by local Filipino cosplay queens Alodia and Ashley Gosiengfiao, the brand ambassadors of the drink, 7-Eleven’s food section manager Louie D. Lucero,  His Excellency Dato Seri Dr. Ibrahim Saad, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of the Philippines and company CEO Edward Ling.

The Good Drink boasts of being “100 percent natural and organic wheatgrass,  free of additives like artificial flavors, preservatives or coloring”. Packed filled with vitamins and “the good stuff”, it is good for the body as it keeps one well hydrated and healthy.

Presently The Good Drink is exclusively available at 7-Eleven’s 577 outlets in Luzon, but will soon be available in Cebu and Davao as well.

I have yet to taste the drink, so I can’t really have an opinion as to how it is different from the powder form and I haven’t really tried the fresh versions of wheatgrass juice, so I’ll have to leave it up to you to decide if it’s yummy or not. Have you tried it? If yes, do share your opinions here!
