Obviously going on a diet and taking on a more healthy lifestyle has its benefits. I have seen so many positive changes in my body. Like I said in a post before, one major change I noticed is how much better my skin has gotten. The pounds that I have lost have also equated to inches off in all sorts of places, so that’s definitely a good thing.
However, I have noticed not so good things happening too. Although I bet they’re nothing taking the best multivitamin supplements and healthier food choices can’t fix. For one, I have noticed that my hair has been falling like crazy. Some say it’s because of the drop in the weight. Sigh. Also, when I do indulge in meat and not so healthy stuff, the next day my skin is sallow and eeeewww. Lastly, while I feel much, much healthier, I feel I get colds more easily now, almost as if my immune system is down. Sigh.
I think however, that what is most essential is working on balance. Let’s hope that the next few months continue to mark pounds but with less of the not so good side effects.
