Yes, dear Bloggers and online friends, in less than a week the annual Blogger’s summit will convene again in the Malcolm Hall of UP Diliman. It’s hard to believe that a year has passed already since the last one :)

As I mentioned not too long ago, this year I am so honored to be included in the roster of speakers for the convention. I will be sharing about how blogging, social networks and online relationships provide social support to individuals and how this allows them to cope with whatever situations they are facing. This was inspired by the support and encouragement I get from you who read this blog and continue to inspire me to keep up with the weight loss journey. Just to emphasize my point, here’s a sneak peek to one of my slides. Pardon the random vanity, haha.

before and after :) photo 1 taken last April 5, 2010 by my dear favorite blogger/photographer, Iris Acosta of PinayAds.com :)

Suffice it to say that I am already so very anxious about getting on that stage and addressing such a large crowd. And of course, in typical Ria fashion, before finishing my speech and power point presentation, I worked on planning my outfit for the day, haha. Yes, complete with accessories and I made sure it even matches my iPad Case because for sure, I will be clinging on to my iPad Piper during the speech! I promise, however, to not read directly from my cheat sheet, okay? Haha :)

The iBlog7 is also extra special for me because besides the fact that I am speaking about how blogging has changed my life, it also comes 3 days before my birthday so it would be nice to be able to see so many of my online friends in one venue :) Yes, just take a look at the before and after photo…one year and so much weight lost!!! :) Yey!!!

Oh, and before I end, just in case I run out of time to say this during the iBlog itself, this talk would not have been possible if not inspired by two very special mommy bloggers…dear Chats and Jane, my dear, dear soul friends who indulge my Margarita fascination, thank you for inspiring me to do this talk by being my support systems in this whole journey of mine. I hope to see you at the iBlog!!!

iBlog7 is slated for April 1 and 2, 2011 from 8 am to 5pm at the Malcolm Hall, UP Diliman.
