A few days ago I finally had to cut my hair. Well, trim it by three and a half inches, to be exact. I’m not to ready to go short again. However, I finally had to concede and cut my hair because it was falling like mad. Apparently, at times, weight loss can cause hair loss as well. Sighness. It got to the point where it was so bad that no matter what hair loss product I used, whether natural or commercial (yes, I even tried the actual aloe vera plant), I was still —for lack of a better word — shedding like crazy.
Since I cut my hair the hair loss isn’t so bad, but it still is there. I have begun to eat more protein once again in my diet, and I think that helps. It appears that the cause of hair loss during the dieting process is due to insufficient nutrients and minerals in the body, thus the hair thins out. Also, rapid weight loss can also trigger the hair loss. However, it is important to note that checking with your doctor (rather than just taking my word for it!) is still the best option for anyone
