After hiding from my doctor for the longest time, I finally went in for a check-up. And the verdict: since the last time she saw me, I had lost a grand total of:

I must admit it was a bit of a surprise, although I did know that I had made great strides in this journey of mine. The validation an the actual official change being validated this way, well, that’s just the added bonus!
Oh my gosh!! Congratulations, sis!!! So proud of you! I really need to buy me a weighing scale. And, yeah, go in for a checkup, too.
Gosh. Congrats talaga, sis Ria! *hugs* What’s more beautiful about this is, well, you’re still as beautiful as you were when you had that additional 30+ pounds on you.

thanks mhel!!! to be honest, though, i don’t weigh myself at home regularly…dati i used to pero pag hindi gumagalaw yung needle sa scale (or worse: kung pumunta the other direction!) super nadedepress ako…also, as my friend reminds me all the time: the true measure isnt just the numbers, its how your clothes fit and how your body feels
