I am so filled with gratitude that I find myself at a loss for words to express how thankful I am to everyone who nominated and voted for the Fat Girl No More in the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2010 Writing Project.

Thank you to all my blogger friends who nominated me and rallied for me these past months during the writing period.
Thank you to all the new bloggers I’ve met through this project. While I may not have known you personally, you saw my blog’s potential to become an inspiration for others as I go through this battle.

Thank you to the original inspiration of this blog, Chats, who’s Project:Fit got the ball rolling back when I was still in WordPress. Sadly, that failed badly…and I even gained weight along the way! But still, I thank you.
Thank you to Sir Bob Mendoza, may he rest in peace, for recognizing the spunk in me and loving the girl I was in and out. I wish you could see me now Sir!
Thank you too to all of you who not only cheer me on for every pound lost but also give me the virtual hugs i need when things get tough along the way. Having an online cheering squad has definitely spurred on my motivation to keep this up, even though sometimes I just want to throw in the towel.
Thank you too to all my offline supporters, my real life friends and colleagues who help make this journey a little bit easier with their love and encouragement.
The recognition you have given me makes me want to do even better and raise the bar in this battle against obesity. Like I said last night in my acceptance speech, I purposely decided to take this fight against weight online so I have an audience…and I will be forced to live up to it! And yes, knowing I have an audience makes me want to prove, not just to you guys, but to me as well that I can do this.
Lastly, I hope that in the end, I am able to live up to the name of the award and in turn, inspire someone else to become a Fat Girl (or Guy!) No More.
