I have never been one to really think up of a reward for myself for when I lost weight, mainly because I hated the idea of setting conditions for my weight loss. In hindsight, I realize that the reason why I would hold back from that is because I’ve always worried (even though I never wanted to admit it!) that I will never get that prize I would set.
However, I think it’s about time I changed that mindset. I realize now that by having that specific goal, I can be more motivated to make REAL progress. For some, they promise themselves a new outfit upon losing a certain number of pounds. For others, they plan grand vacations and even a Royal Caribbean cruise (oooh…wouldn’t that be grand!). As for me, these are my goals:
Ten pounds lost: beach trip with Bubba!
Next ten pounds: a scanner!
When I reach my goal weight: (sige na nga….my target is 135. I know that’s still over the recommended weight for my height, but I think that’s the most realistic goal I can set for myself) AN iMAC! I swear I’m getting this!
