I am grateful I live in a highly technological world.
Be it in my diet journey, or in my job as a teacher, I find that having access to all sorts of sites resources that can help me in so many ways. For example, there are lots of online fora that help support fellow dieters. You can ask questions such as how many calories are there in a certain dish to tips and tricks on exercise and the like. In the field of education, the benefits of technology is boundless. From helping teachers like me make learning more meaningful to helping student prepare for college with sat prep courses for example, technology can really make a vast difference. This is especially beneficial because it can address all sorts of learning styles and personalities. Unlike reading a textbook, for example, reviewing for exams or doing practice exercises for the SAT’s, or other similar pre-college qualifying exams, can make a kinesthetic learner like me take in more information because it merges action to visual stimuli.
Online support systems have definitely changed the way learning and adapting to the demands of everyday life in a lot of great ways, and despite occasional faults modern technology has, these improvements definitely outweigh those. I wonder how this could have changed my own experiences if it were available when I was younger!
