When I attended the iBlog last April, I won a box of Slenda supplements. My friend Cher also won a box but since she’s super skinny and is one of those lucky people who never struggle with weight, she gave it to me. However, I haven’t really tried it yet.

Slenda is one of the local weight loss supplements that has gained popularity as it is endorsed by Valerie Concepcion and Isabelle Diaz-Daza. According to their website, Slenda uses all-natural ingredients and is safe and effective. They also claim no messy side-effects, which I understand is one of the worst effects of other diet supplements (loose and oily bowels).

Slenda is a unique formulation of Resveratrol, EGCG, Banaba and Turmeric. It is known to help regularize bowel movements and improve metabolism. Further, it helps cells burn calories efficiently, thus resulting in less residue in the body to form to fat.

As always, it works best with a balanced diet, a healthy lifestyle and regular exercise. Supplements should be taken 3 times a day, before meals.

I still have qualms about taking supplements and diet pills, but I think maybe I need a boost to get me started. Plus I already have a whole bunch of this on hand, right?
