For the past few weeks, my goal was to lose weight. However, the motivation was to be thin again. As such, I have been trying to make myself miserable by withholding anything that is good (a.k.a. fattening or indulgent). While on one hand, that’s how dieting really is, but on the other, all I’ve managed to do is slide down a slippery slope.

With this realization, I am changing my mindset about weight loss. It is no longer to become thin and look good alone anymore. I am making this a journey to healthy. Being healthy should not be limited to “body healthy” alone, but I will also take care of my emotions and my mental state while trying to lose weight!
