Like I said, I am trying to give up on my love affair with soda. A few months ago, my cousin tried convincing me about giving wheatgrass a try. I gave it a week and I really didn’t enjoy it much. To be fair, it doesn’t taste bad, it just takes some getting used to. She, on the other hand, is a big fan. She has a glass of this every morning and she claims that since she started this regimen, she hasn’t had her usual constipation problems or bloating especially during that time of the month.

Wheatgrass juice has become a popular beverage lately. It is being touted as “green blood” (as the commercial goes) because it supposedly is quite good for the blood, circulation and for overall health. It’s also a popular choice in many television shows such as Private Practice where the lead character, Addison Montgomery, is often seen drinking a glass of this.

Well, I still have a few sachets left from that first attempt so I’m gonna give it another shot. Let’s hope I can keep it up though!!! Oh, I like the wheatgrass with honey better than the regular one, although some say it’s too sweet.
