Tonight at a food bloggers event, I was reminded of my achilles heel: desserts. I always kid and say that I’d gladly give up a steak and potatoes meal for a sliver of my favorite chocolate mousse. That’s how much I love desserts.

Giving up desserts completely will be an impossibility for me. I think accepting the fact of that weakness and that this will always and forever be my Achilles Heel, I can make more conscious efforts to avoid falling into the dessert trap. As such, I will not completely deprive myself of desserts but I will make more of a deliberate choice when picking my treats. Rather than getting a chocolate mousse for example, maybe I can opt for something more fruit based.

Limiting my desserts will surely be a challenge. Nonetheless, this soon to be not a fat girl anymore will tame her sweet tooth asap!
